About Us About Us

While some traditional flood defence can sometimes inhibit working areas, our flood defence windows are glazed with laminated safety glass panels assembled to comply with current building regulations. Designed not only to take a static head of water but also withstand debris impact loads, which can be very common during a flood event.

About Us About Us

Strong and aesthetic flood windows

The majority of flood defence failures are the result of an error during deployment. Flood doors design out this risk. If the user is capable of opening and closing a door then they are capable of deploying a flood door.Flood defence doesn’t have to be unattractive. Our flood windows can be easily integrated into existing structures, and matched to existing UPVC windows for a seamless finish in situations where a clear view is required inside or outside a structure that is at flood risk. Designed to mimic UPVC property windows, each flood window we manufacture can be completed in a powder coat finish to match existing colours. We have worked closely with planning teams where windows have been required to mimic the existing designs, including within listed properties or conservation areas.

About Us About Us

Fully openable, without defensive compromise.

A flood window design can include a standard side or top opening light, closed with an MMEngineering modified strong cockspur latches and a stainless steel casement stay for security closing. The opening when closed and locked forms a fully watertight seal.

About Us About Us

Built to last

Constructed of non-ferrous materials and laminated safety glass panels assembled into double glazed K glass sealed units, our flood windows are designed to withstand both the weight of water, as well as debris impact throughout a period of flood. Our engineering team’s knowledge & expertise in civil engineering ensures that any designs for flood windows will last the test of time, whilst blending in seamlessly with existing structures.
